Level Up VA Champions
What does it take to be a champion?
Level Up Virginia coordinates four annual college-planning events to help students in Virginia plan their pathway to education or training beyond high school.
High schools that successfully participate in all four of these events will be recognized as a Level Up Champion, receiving a pennant to showcase their accomplishment! The four events are Virginia College Application Week (VCAW), ECMC College Nights, FAF$A Next, and Decision Day VA. Each of these events has specific components to help students in planning and preparing for their education beyond high school.
Leveling Up to champion!
To be recognized, high schools must register for and coordinate ALL of the following events:
- Virginia College Application Week (October 21-25, 2024)
- Ensure that students complete student surveys
- Complete the VCAW coordinator post-survey by December 1
- ECMC College Nights (October 2024 - April 2025)
- Complete the ECMC College Nights post survey by May 9, 2025
- FAF$A Next (October 2024 - February 2025)
- Complete the FAF$A Next site coordinator survey by March 14, 2025
- Decision Day VA (on or around May 1, 2025)
- Complete the Decision Day post survey by June 1, 2025
